Request deletion of your PageCrave data
This page explains how to delete the data associated with your PageCrave guest account. PageCrave does not require sign-up: your account is identified only by a random, pseudo-anonymous device ID created on first launch.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app
- Open PageCrave and go to Me → Privacy & account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm the request.
- Your account then enters a 15-day cooling-off period. Signing back in during those 15 days cancels the deletion. When the period ends, the data listed below is permanently erased.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, email
xiezimeng888@gmail.com with the subject line
PageCrave data deletion and include your in-app user ID (shown under
Me → Privacy & account). We will confirm and process the
request within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your guest account record (anonymized)
- Bookshelf / library entries
- Reading progress and bookmarks
- Chapter unlock history and coin wallet ledger
- Consent records and feedback messages you submitted
What is retained, and for how long
- During the 15-day cooling-off period your data is retained so the deletion can be cancelled; it is erased when the period ends.
- Residual backup copies are purged within 30 days of erasure.
- Records we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or financial-audit reasons are retained only as long as required and are never used for any other purpose.
